Brandon Boyd
Brandon Boyd's journey with opioid use disorder has affected every part of his life and work. Having spent years navigating the challenges of addiction, cycling through countless treatment programs, and facing periods of incarceration, he knows firsthand the struggle and stigma that so many face. What set him on a true path to recovery was a combination of medical intervention with the Naltrexone implant and, most importantly, discovering a sense of purpose beyond addiction. Today, Brandon brings both lived experience and professional expertise to everyone he serves. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist with an Associate of Applied Science in Addictions and Substance Use Disorders from Rio Salado College, he understands recovery from both sides: the personal reality and the clinical science. This perspective allows him to meet people where they are while guiding them with evidence-informed strategies that actually work. Brandon works with individuals reentering society after incarceration, providing the kind of comprehensive support that addresses what too many recovery approaches overlook. He has developed and implemented specialized programs including an Opioid Education Class covering addiction biology, hedonic set point theory, medication-assisted treatment options, Narcan administration, and overdose response; a Confidence and Leadership Course that helps participants rediscover their strengths and build decision-making skills; and the S.M.I.L.E. Program (Strategies for Managing Interpersonal Life Effectively), which addresses relationship rebuilding and the interpersonal challenges that can make or break reentry success. He also facilitates eight-week employment readiness programs, teaching resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies, because sustainable recovery includes economic stability and the dignity of meaningful work. His approach combines motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and individualized recovery planning with something equally important: genuine understanding of what his clients are facing. At MindSculpt Recovery, Brandon's mission is grounded in the understanding that lasting recovery isn't just about removing substances, it's about building confidence, finding purpose, and reconnecting with community. He believes recovery happens when people rediscover their strengths, develop practical skills for navigating real-world challenges, and receive support that's both compassionate and evidence-informed. He is committed to ethical practice, confidentiality, and treating every person with the dignity and respect they deserve. Brandon knows the shame, the setbacks, and the moments when giving up feels easier than continuing. He also knows that with commitment, the right support, and compassionate guidance, transformation isn't just possible, it's within reach. His clients don't need another lecture about what they already know. They need someone who understands, who won't judge, and who has the training and vision to help them build something new. That's what Brandon offers: a partnership in recovery that honors both where his clients have been and where they're capable of going.
